Godammit dreamweaver... you will not,
ever, ever give me a font stack that has Arial before Helvetica. Are you kidding me? This is one of those tiny little app design mistakes that has made literally millions of Mac users have to look at Arial when Helvetica is indeed in the font stack and on their computers. Wow. That is crazy talk.

Well, I know which version of Helvetica it's going to be:
ReplyDeleteOn a Mac, it'll be Apple's version.
On a designer's windows installation, it'll be whatever version of Helvetica the designer thinks is nice.
On a regular Windows installation, it's not there.
So, of course, there's the possibility for slight variations, but I'm not blogging for the old world of pixel-perfect consistency across browsers.
